Zobeyni Nurani

Chief sire at Zobeyni getting beautiful foals.  Passing on the legacy of Naufal, Naseel and the Blunts' Bedouin mares.

''Nurani passes on the confident, gentle temperament which I insist on.

Naseel was bred by Lady Yule of the Hanstead Stud.

He went to Ireland and is remembered mostly for his superstar ponies.  He does also have a few important purebred descendants.

Naufal was foaled in 1916 and has been hugely influential through very few foals.

His son Riffal and his daughter Rishka are key elements in pedigrees at Zobeyni Arabians.

The Naufal & Naseel Inheritance

The Crabbet Stud founded by Lady Anne and Wilfrid Scawen Blunt in the 1870s started purebred Arabian horse breeding in England.  At Zobeyni I concentrate on the inheritance from lines to the bedouin mares Queen of Sheba and Dajania via the key sires Naufal and Naseel.

Pedigrees explain the traits the horses today have.  These lines still provide the temperament, beauty and athleticism of those early bedouin war horses.

Take a look at our Arabians and the bloodlines we use on our Horses pages, or explore the history and genetics of the Arabian breed on our History pages.
